
Ryan Gajarawala
Ryan Gajarawala is an Associate at Schmidt Sciences where he runs the AI2050 initiative, leading program strategy, execution, and selection. In addition, he works on supporting other programs for the AI and Advanced Computing Institute, including the AI Safety Science program.
Prior to Schmidt Sciences, Ryan has worked in the AI and Climate space on projects such as building AI-driven carbon measurement & reduction tools, improving access to geospatial foundation models, and improving AI-based annotations tools for marine video. He has also worked on cloud computing at Microsoft Azure, and improved digital services with the City of Boston’s Digital Service.
Ryan received a B.A. from Harvard University in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
